Noir Round Up

Here are the most recent developments within the world as it pertains to noir so listen up :
  •  Rockstar's L.A. Noire is set to elevate the bar once again in gaming with their improved motion capture technology.
  • The graphic novel adaptation of Richard Stark's famous Parker stories continues as the latest has been released to largely glowing reviews.  In my eyes there is simply no character who better encapsulates Roger Ebert's description of noir as a world in which "there are no more heroes," than Parker.
  • The Wall Street Journal posted a guided tour of the classic noir locations in noir's most iconic city : Los Angeles.
  • The second issue of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips' series Incognito: Bad Influences, a follow up to 2009's critically acclaimed series Incognito, was released this past week.
  • Samuel L. Jackson, Luke Wilson, and Leslie Bibb have joined the cast of the noir adaptation Meeting Evil.

  1. Nice use of bullets and well done finding so much noir news—who knew?

A few notes: Watch the space after the first bullet. Your first link goes to Blogger.com.

    Otherwise, good work.
